About the course

Sexual harassment can occur in any workplace, but licensed premises can face particular risks because of alcohol, late-night working, frequent customer interaction, informal workplace cultures and unequal positions of authority. This Level 2 online course helps employees, supervisors and managers understand sexual harassment, recognise inappropriate conduct and respond correctly when concerns arise. It also explains the preventative responsibilities of employers and the practical measures licensed premises should introduce to protect their workers. Generic workplace training does not always reflect the realities of pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and event venues. This course addresses hospitality-specific situations, including: Inappropriate comments from customers Unwanted attention or touching Alcohol-related behaviour Late-night and lone working Staff parties and social events Workplace messaging groups Behaviour involving managers or supervisors Promoters, contractors, performers and other third parties Employees who may feel unable to report concerns Management intervention and customer removal CPD Learning Time: 1 Hour
