Money Laundering Awareness (Licensed Premises) | Level 1 CPD

This Level 1 Money Laundering Awareness course is designed for staff working in licensed premises such as pubs, bars, clubs and hospitality venues. It provides basic awareness of money laundering risks in alcohol‑led environments, helping staff understand how criminal activity may present itself and why safe, lawful handling of payments and customer behaviour matters. The course focuses on awareness and vigilance, not investigation or enforcement. This is a Level 1 CPD Qualification. 0.5 CPD hours.

By completing this course, learners will gain awareness of: What money laundering is, in simple terms Why licensed premises can be targeted Common warning signs and suspicious behaviours Risks linked to cash payments, large transactions and unusual activity The importance of staff awareness and professional boundaries What staff should and should not do When and how concerns should be reported internally
