Equality & Diversity for Licensed Premises Awareness Level 1

This Level 1 Equality & Diversity Awareness course is designed for staff working in licensed premises such as pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. It introduces the basics of equality, diversity and inclusion, helping staff understand how their behaviour and attitudes affect customers and colleagues. The course supports legal compliance and promotes a respectful, welcoming environment for all. This Level 1 CPD-certified course provides 0.5 CPD hours on completion.

This course is suitable for: Bar and waiting staff Front‑of‑house teams Door supervisors and stewards (awareness level) Supervisors and duty managers New starters and existing staff No previous equality or diversity training is required.

On successful completion of this course, learners are awarded a CPD‑recognised certificate. The certificate provides formal evidence of continuing professional development and can be retained for individual CPD records, staff training files, or inspection purposes. This activity equates to 0.5 CPD hours. Certificates are available to download immediately after achieving the required pass mark in the end‑of‑course assessment.
